Holiday Market

Whew, I have been so busy getting ready to deliver lots of my handmade goodies to the Holiday Market for Friday, I have barely had time to keep up! By tomorrow morning all will be done and I will treat myself to a much needed 3 hour break at the movies to see Harry Potter... finally!
Then, its a whirlwind of fun for 14 guests at my house, dessert baking starts tonight.
Here are some of my favorite things I have been working on.
~ Specimen shadow boxes for handmade jewelry
~vintage inspired Advent Calenders
~adding sparkles to anything that sits still
~Pumpkin vine handled cloches
~zipper flowers for adorning vintage pate jars of buttons, beads etc
~Vintage Flower Frog Christmas Trees
~Handmade cards of Yo Yos and Vintage Paper Garlands

I hope your Holiday is a blast...Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Warm Wishes No.2

Here are the Christmas photo cards that I made from this weekend with friends. It was a great way to spend the last morning of our get together. Everyone received a pair of socks and piled on the bed! Now each couple will receive their very own pack of cards to spread even more Holiday cheer. A gift to cherish that keeps on giving.

I use brown masking paper from the hardware store for most of my wrapping. It is ten times stronger than tissue, weighs about the same and only cost 2.99 for a 180 ft. roll! You can find it in the house-paint supply aisle.

Warm wishes~
